Riley is ready for Spring

Riley did some online spring clothes shopping for herself last week.  The result?  Trying on all of her new clothes at the same time and searching the bag for more!  At least we know my little girl will love to shop (trouble for me and Andrew).  We also got some new sandals, that Riley can't wait to wear.  She calls them her "summer shoes" and likes to try them on at home.  I can't wait to spring into the new wardrobe as she has outgrown a lot of her winter stuff.  We went to the doctor the other day and Riley weighed in at 26 lbs!

Luck of the Irish

Riley celebrated St. Patrick's day in her "lucky me" Mickey shirt that her dad bought for her.  She also enjoyed some of mommy's shamrock shake - a delicious treat!  Daddy had himself a Guinness to celebrate his heritage.

Off to Grammy's House

Riley and I spent a long weekend in Charleston visiting Grammy.  We had a wonderful time!  On Friday we went to the Charleston Children's Museum - she liked playing with the golf balls and had fun painting with water.  She even made some little friends.  On Saturday we went to Mommy's playground - the outlet mall and found some cute Riley clothes for summer.  Sunday we went to the Magnolia Plantation and had a lot of fun smelling the flowers and walking on every set of stairs we could find.  We also saw lots of animals including some interesting ones - a peacock and some water buffalo.  We also saw a goat, cows, horses and birds.  Over the weekend we also made many trips across the street to the local park.  Riley loved, loved, loved the slide and swing.  Every day she would say "outside?".  The weather was mild and better than the rain/snow mix Daddy was telling us about in Columbus.  Riley also turned 22 months when we were on the trip - such a big girl!  Riley was a great traveler and did very well on the plane.  We really tired her out on the flight back and she went to bed early!
